In addition to a great games we look to make this a fun family visit to UNC at Chapel Hill. We currently have 10 programs committed. They are: TEAM 91 CAROLINA CANNONS, 757 VIRGINIA, TEAM CAROLINA, TRIAD ELITE, RED DEVIL, SIDEWINDERS, HILLTOPPERS, WINSTON SALEM SELECT and DUKE'S. The Tournament and Friday Skills Camp will take place on Hooker Fields on The Campus of UNC.
Friday: Coach Breschi and his staff and current UNC players will run a skills session broken down by position from 7:00pm-9;00pm.
The Tournament will take place on Saturday from 9:00am -5:00pm and Sunday from 9:00am -2:00pm. On Saturday in between games head to The UNC Basketball Hall of Fame(450 Skipper Bowles Drive), The UNC Football Hall of Fame, Kennan Memorial Stadium, The Bell Tower, The Old Well and The Carolina Book Store, all within walking distance of fields. On Saturday there will be a parent -player-coach Pig Picking and Blue Grass band at The UNC Bell Tower Amphitheater (200 South Road) next to Ram's Deck Parking and behind the Bell Tower. There is a street beside The Bell Tower. Follow that road and you are there. Right behind end zone seating at Kennan Stadium.
At 8:15pm on Saturday night, the players will watch "The 2016 National Championship" with current players from UNC in the Ballrooms at the local hotels. At the same time there will be a Parents Reception at He’s Not Here on Franklin Street.
On Sunday games will take place on Hooker fields from 9:00am-2pm.
We are looking for 10 Programs to bring their rising 4th-8th grade teams to this Tourney. The Tournament will be limited to 40 Total teams from the 10 Programs.

Travel costs and the hotel rooms that would be $120 a night at the Courtyard Marriott or Sheraton about 3 miles from campus would not be included. The Eddie Smith Field House will be the STAGING area for ALL teams. The Eddie Smith is located right next to Hooker Fields and you will enter the Eddie at the end of Field 3. The Eddie will have the turf down and has AC. Please make sure to put all trash in trash cans and to keep it clean. The bathrooms are also located in The Eddie. There is no need to bring tents since we have The Eddie!!!
Saturday at The Sheraton and The Courtyard Marriott from 8:00pm-10:00 pm we will have current UNC players watch the National Championship Game with your kids in the hotel conference room. This will free the parents up for a few hours to go to He's Not Here for a Blue Cup.
Carolina Inn: Friday's On The Front Porch A Carolina tradition, A Live Band (Lee Gildersleeve and The Bad Dogs) will be performing on Friday June 2nd from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Food Trucks and Cash Bar will also be on premise. After the show head to TOPO across the street for a beverage and the best view in Chapel Hill.
Parking for the tourney is at THE BELL TOWER PARKING DECK. The Parking deck is right next to The Pig Picking location. Come up NC 54 from I 40 heading toward UNC. Cross over Country Club and DRIVE BETWEEN 2 BARRICADES!. Now you are on South Rd. Hooker Fields are on the left. DROP OFF PLAYERS AND GEAR!! Drive straight on South and take first right onto Raleigh Rd. Follow Raleigh Rd and take first left onto Cameron. Pass by the Old Well on right and cross over S. Columbia St. Make first left onto Pittsboro St. Drive past Carolina Inn on left and take a left onto McCauley St. Cross over S. Columbia. Take the first right at light into BELL TOWER PARKING DECK area and park straight ahead. About a 8 min walk to Hooker Fields. DUE TO CONSTRUCTION FOLLOW EXACT DIRECTIONS ABOVE.
The Pig Picking will take place at The UNC Bell Tower Amphitheater (200 South Road) next to BELL TOWER PARKING DECK and behind The Bell Tower. It is behind The End Zone of Keenan Stadium. Walk from fields To Keenan Stadium and around the Stadium to far end zone. About an 8 minute walk from fields. The Pig Picking will be catered by BackYard BBQ. The menu will be Pulled Pork, Burgers, Dogs, Mac and Cheese and Carolina Sweet Tea and Lemonade.
